Barbara Jean Bolla, 72, of Main Street, Sharon Springs, New York died peacefully Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Nancy Dowd Hospice Home in Gloversville, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 16, 1950 in Ewa, Hawaii, she was the daughter of Martin Jackson, Jr. and Esther Kailihiwa. Barbara had been a resident of the local area since 2015, previously residing in the San Francisco Bay Area (California), Seattle, and Hawaii.
Barbara was a hardworking woman that enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a strong, loving, caring, giving woman.
Her husband, Angelo Bolla predeceased her in 2011.
Cherishing her memories are her children, Adrienne and Ben Haig of Cherry Valley, NY, Sean Counts of Nevada, Billy and Erin Giesker of Arizona, Tracy Giesker and Brenda Willis of Washington State; grandchildren, Logan Haig, Gavin Haig, Mackenzie Haig, Chelsea Haig, Brodie Counts, Remi Counts, Harlie Counts, Avery Giesker, Gage Giesker, Quinn Giesker, and Olivia Giesker.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
