Warnerville-Mr. Arthur Edgar Clark, 79, most recently of Court Street, Warnerville, New York died Sunday, December 18, 2022 in the comfort of his home, under the loving care of his family.

Born on July 15, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Arthur Clayton Clark and Marie Boseling Clark. He received his Master's degree from SUNY Stony Brook. Arthur spent most of his life on Long Island until moving in with his sister, Janette in Richmondville in June 2016.

He was an Advertising Agent for various newspapers on Long Island.

He was of Catholic faith.

Arthur was a gifted gardener, and an aficionado of World History. He had a brilliant mind and loved with a pure heart. He was a humble man that enjoyed his privacy and the love and support of his family.

Art was predeceased by his parents; sister, Marilyn Clark; nephews, William McGroarty, James McGroarty; and his life partner of over 40 years, Robert "Bob" MaGee who preceded him in death on February 22, 2016.

He is survived by his sisters, Janette Snellbaker of Richmondville, NY, Doris (Charles) Hardy of Vermont; nieces and nephews, Bill (Donna) Thomson, Jacqueline Tucci, Vincent (Danielle) Tucci, Daniel (Danielle) McGroarty, Kristen (Jonathon) Hertzler, John (Melinda) Snellbaker; many great-nieces and great-nephews, including Alexander Hertzler, Alana Hertzler, and Waylon Snellbaker, whom were very dear to him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Marathon For A Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.
