Arnold Manzer
Levanna- Arnold "Jack" Manzer, 76, of Levanna, passed unexpectedly with his family by his side on Saturday, January 11, 2014.
Born June 11, 1937 in Gelatt, PA, he was the son of Arthur and Mary Manzer.
Jack was a truck driver for over 40 years, most recently with Barr Trucking. He was a member of Aurora Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed carpentry, hunting and fishing and loved his dog, Sadie.
Survivors include this three children: John (Janet) Manzer of Scipio, Kim Manzer McCoy of Webster and Patricia (Dale) Amidon of Auburn; four grandchildren: Matthew and Jenna Manzer, Daniel McCoy, and Joshua Amidon; and three brothers: Robert Manzer of FL, David Manzer, Sr., of PA, and Gary Manzer, Sr. of NY. He was predeceased by his wife: Barbaranne Manzer.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014 in Middleburgh Cemetery, Middleburgh, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Aurora Masonic Center, 325 Main St., Aurora, NY 13026.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh and Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
