Annette Scorzelli

Howes Cave: Annette A. Scorzelli, 73, of State Route 7, died Monday, November 24, 2014 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.

Annette was born in Manhattan, NY on December 29, 1940 a daughter of Marianna (Guglielmo) and George J. Scorzelli, Sr.

Annette graduated from Central Commercial Business School and worked as a professional typist. She typed articles and stories for several magazine companies in the New York City area. She also worked as a typist and clerk for the New York City Housing Authority in Manhattan.

Annette enjoyed bowling and she loved to dance.

She was predeceased by her brothers: George and Julius Scorzelli.

She is survived by her sister: Angelina Caravella of the Bronx; brother: Richard (Lorraine) Scorzelli of Warnerville; sisters-in-law: Connie Scorzelli of Warnerville, Irene Scorzelli of Levittiown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A prayer service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday November 28, 2014 at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St. Cobleskill, NY. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held Friday, from 12:00-2:00, prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date in Patria cemetery. Cremation will take place at Vale Crematory, Schenectady following the service.
