Middleburgh, NY: Angelo J. Montague, 65, of Clauverwie, died on Mon., Nov. 13, 2006 at his home with his family at his side.
He was born in Ossining, NY on Nov. 17, 1940 a son of John and Madeline Velardo Montague. He graduated in 1958 from Ossining and immediately married his favorite twirler Sandra. He was employed as a police officier by the Village of Ossining for 23 years and rose to the rank of Lieutenant . He retired in 1984 and moved his family to beautiful Middleburgh where he worked as a painting contractor until retiring again. Angelo was an avid hunter and fisherman who kloved camping with Sandra.
He served as a volunteer fireman with the Ossining Hose Co for over 25 years and then with the Town of Broome volunteer fire department for 10 yeas where he served as president for 5 years.
Angelo was a loving husband and father . He touched many lives and leaves behind numerous close friends and family
He is survived by his wife of forty eight years Sandra

Also surviving are 31 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Madeline Velardo Montague and his father John Montague.
