Abel Tardiff

Abel J. Tardiff, 75 of Quarry Rd., died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

Mr. Tardiff was born in Portage Lake, Maine on Dec. 22, 1931 a son of the late Alfred and Irene Bouthot Tardiff. Mr. Tardiff worked for Schweizer's Lumber in Sloansville, N.Y. before retiring. He enjoyed playing cards, watching wrestling, Country music and a donut with his morning coffee. He was also very fond of his friends and family.
Mr. Tardiff was predeceased by his wife, Rose Ann Tardiff on Jan. 15, 1992 and by his brothers, Fred and Lucian Tardiff and his Step-Brother, Norman Paige. He is survived by:

Lifelong friends: Phyllis, Cindy and Fred Burgor Hartford, CT.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Wed., Sept 26, 2007 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY Rev. Neil Irwin will officiate. Burial of the Cremains will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Grand Gorge, NY. Cremation took place at the Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady, NY.
